Life after ICCU days
π΄π©ΊFive months since October 2025.
Baba, the day you fell severely ill, that is 22nd of October if you could remember was really a day of trauma for me. The day before and in the same week there was Kali pujo or Diwali. I had to buy medicines from the pharmacy at night. I had to withdraw money to buy staff from a local store. Unfortunately I do not have PayTm or Google Pay. With the advancement of technology, there are more advantages. Although there are innumerable cases of cyber frauds but the benefits of netizens are immense compared to the losses. In this age of AI, ChatGpt, chatbox, online info, someone like me who has worked in the Silicon Valley of India often finds it difficult to make payments especially due to th server error. My father is yet to have PayTm. Even I am more used to the old system of cash payment system in stores. Now it's so easy to get treatment in a big hospital in the city. The day my daddy fell ill, his pulse dropped, and pressure was below normal, he was unable to breathe, almost asphisxiati g. What could I have done other than taking him to the big hospital. My uncle came for help, but my brother couldn't. The ambulance guy helped me to take him to the ambulance and immediately my father was shifted to the hospital. This hospital admitted my daddy after initial interrogation. It took more than hour for these doctors to do some scrutiny. Till the time my father was taken to the ICCU, my uncle and I waited in the Emergency of the hospital. From 12 in the afternoon till 2pm I waited till he was shifted to the Neuro ICCU ward. Since then my father is having liquid food through Ryles Tube which is goes through the nose into the stomach. This painful way of having food is the only way to stop any kind of choking during swallowing of food through mouth.
